Evaluation Policy
This page outlines the evaluation policies for the course Quantum Computing offered under the code CS5638 in Jan - May 2024.
Following are the main components
- Tests - Test 1, Test 2 (with 20% each). Total of 40%.
- End Semester - Total of 40%.
- Problem sets - 4 sets. Total of 20%.
Tests
There will be two tests which will be held in the day and the slot scheduled by the academic section of IIT Palakkad. The likely dates are as follows:

Problem Sets
There will be four problem sets. The first one will be conducted in the form of a short exam (for about 20-30 minutes) before the first drop-date. The subsequent three problems sets needs to be submitted in the course moodle page. For the three problem sets, there will be an in-class evaluation where you will be asked to explain your solutions to fellow students.
